Beautiful Cooper Model 21 Custom Classic in .223 Remington with desirable options. This right handed example of Cooper’s bolt action, tack driving, single shot Model 21 is stocked with a richly colored and exceptionally well figured walnut stock, checkered at 22 LPI in a ribbon-point pattern that wraps the forearm and crosses over the pistol grip. The end of the forearm is enhanced cosmetically with a hand-formed ebony tip. 2-screw inletted sling swivel studs are mounted under the forearm and butt. A skeleton grip cap with checkered center and a skeleton butt plate with checkered center add to the heirloom quality of this classic beauty. A hand formed beaded cheekpiece graces the left side of the butt.

The trigger is adjustable (we set our Coopers to about 1.5 pounds for paper punching and 2.5 pounds for the field).

The blued barrel is 24 inches long with a crowned muzzle at 0.70 inch diameter .

Overall Length = 42 7/8 inches. Length of pull = 13 5/8 inches. Weight (with rings and scope) = 8 pounds 9 ounces.

Leupold VARI-X III  6.5 X 20 scope with fine duplex reticle and polished finish.

Manufactured in 1995 and collected and preserved by a Cooper enthusiast. Condition is new with one tiny, pin head sized bluing rub on trigger guard, presumably a gun safe event.
