COLT PRE-WOODSMAN .22LR FROM 1921 NEAR NEW CONDITION
Officially designated “Colt Automatic Pistol, Caliber .22 Target Model" when production began in 1915, this is a wonderfully preserved example of Colt’s entry into the world of rimfire target shooting, for the casual “plinker” and for the competitor.
Features include: polished blue finish; original pencil barrel at 6 1/2 inches; factory two tone magazine with two line stamp “CAL. 22” & “COLT” and brass or bronze follower; checkered, diamond walnut grip panels; rear sight adjustable for windage and front sight adjustable for elevation; checkered safety lock lever.
