RESTORATION PROJECT: A new in original box Kimber of Oregon Model 84 Super America in .223 Remington made about 1984 or 1985 and carrying a three digit serial number and Model 84 B-variant suffix. Incorporating all four upgrade options, this Kimber Super America represents Kimber of Oregon craftsmanship at its "hey-day". This rifle has a stock that is cracked through the pistol grip and is offered "as is" at a price reduced from its appropriate retail price of $2750.00. In our opinion, the stock is repairable by a competent gunsmith or restoration expert, or the stock can be replaced by a new stock using the original stock as a template and using the original hardware to replicate the original stock. The full description of this rifle follows: "Rare and wonderful Kimber of Oregon M84 Super America in .223 Remington, with four sought-after options: A = Ebony foreend tip; B = quarter rib sight package with folding leaf rear sight on sculpted quarter rib and ramped, hooded front sight; C = skeleton grip cap with hand checkered center; D = two panel checkered bolt knob. English walnut stock. Original box serialized to the rifle with the four options noted and original owner’s manual. SN “SA522B”. " Restored or expertly repaired, this Kimber would make a wonderful addition to a Kimber of Oregon collection as a favorite shooter with all the bells and whistles. Photos show rifle features and options. Total cost as is = $1350 plus shipping of $45. Super America barreled actions with quarter rib sight packages, checkered bolt knobs, skeleton grip caps, Neidner butt plates and inletted sling studs are not available today. If they were available, they would cost more than this offer. Trades?
